Overview

A young man returns to his isolated hometown on Crockett Island, hoping to rebuild his life after serving four years in prison for killing someone in a drunk-driving incident. He arrives at the same time as a mysterious, charismatic young priest who begins to revitalise the town's flagging faith. However, the community's divisions are soon exacerbated by the priest's deeds while mysterious events befall the small town.

Men Ke, an office worker and corporate slave, spent the first half of her life so bored that she questioned her existence. Wimzie's House is a Canadian children's television program which ran on YTV from 1995 to 1996, and in the United States on Public Broadcasting Service from October 1, 1997 to September 28, 2001. The show has also aired at least as early as 1995 and through the late-1990s on CBC Television, and on Radio-Canada. The show also aired on Nickelodeon's preschool programming block Nick Jr. from January 21, 2000 – April 26, 2002, and on CBS as part of Nick Jr. on CBS from September 16, 2000 – September 7, 2002, then returned after a four-year hiatus from September 17, 2005 and was seen through September 9, 2006. Reruns of the show currently air in the United States on qubo on January 7, 2008, and in Canada on the Cookie Jar Toons block on This TV and in syndication as part of the Cookie Jar Network block. The series was produced by Cinar, with the PBS telecasts presented by Maryland Public Television, and Children's Television Workshop from 1997 – 2000, then Sesame Workshop from 2000 – 2002. The show's puppetry is in the style of Sesame Street, which led to some legal troubles with The Jim Henson Company, in 1999.

Castle Haven was a British soap opera, set around the residents of two Victorian seaside houses that had been converted into a series of flats and bedsits. It was first broadcast on 4 April 1969, but cancelled just under a year later on 26 March 1970 100 episodes were produced, but it is believed that only fifteen minutes of the series is still in existence; the rest were wiped after transmission, as per the (then commonplace) procedure of wiping videotape.

Takako Mamiya is a lawyer who quits her job at a prestigious law firm and establishes her own office. She confidently sets out to build her business, but soon her former firm is putting up obstacles and interfering, causing Takako's employees and clients to drift away. She finally puts together a new staff consisting of a college student who knows little about the law, a girl who applied for the job in hopes of meeting a rich guy, a hard-nosed lawyer, and a paralegal who hasn't passed the bar exam yet. Takako reluctantly handles divorce cases with her incompetent crew. For an elite lawyer like her, divorce cases are the most boring and unrewarding cases that exist. Through clashing with her employees and clients, Takako soon becomes a very mature and tough lawyer. "Divorce Lawyer" also tells the story of how difficult it is to judge love and relationships in legal terms.
